FREE Saturday Walking Tours!

Posted on May 4, 2017

Another Saturday Walking Tour season is upon us! Since the early 80’s, HSF has offered FREE walking tours every Saturday from May through October. Visitors wind their way through four of Staunton’s six historic districts as a knowledgeable volunteer guide describes Staunton’s development and architecture.

We hope you will be able to join us for a tour this summer – and bring your friends and family!  It’s a great way to experience the beauty and charm of Staunton while learning more about its history.

Groups convene Saturday mornings @ 10am on the Emily Smith House porch adjacent to the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library (24 North Coalter Street). Tours run approximately two hours and no reservations are needed. Come as you are, but we suggest comfortable walking shoes!

Visit our Saturday Walking Tours page for a downloadable brochure.

Thank you to all of our dedicated walking tour guides for enabling the Saturday Walking Tour to continue through the years. And thanks to the generous folks at Blue Mountain Coffees (12b Byers Street in the Wharf Historic District) for sponsoring the tour again this year!
