DATE OF CONSTRUCTION:

BUSINESS HISTORY:  Original site of the city market. (1884-1914) Black public school. (1915) addition built. (1921-1929) used as an office and store.  At some point an Elks Lodge, and a bowling alley.

BUSINESS HISTORY:  Build as Our Lday of Angels Monastery.  Used as a seminary for training priests.  Had 80 rooms on 12.5 acres.

DATE OF CONSTRUCTION:  Designed by Francis E. Baldwin and erected in 1883. Photo (above) taken in the 1890s.

BUSINESS HISTORY:  Built for the B&O Valley Railroad Line

DEMOLITION DATE: Abandoned in 1943,

DATE OF CONSTRUCTION:  1870.  The façade was constructed between 1880-1890.

BUSINESS HISTORY:  Between 1896-1909, it was recorded to be a clothing store.  In 1914, it housed a dry goods store.
